Biography
Attorney Milton L. Kerstein, managing partner of KCL, is an experienced practitioner in the field of regulatory, administrative, education and employment law, as well as in the field of criminal and civil litigation. He has a national practice including appearances in both state and federal court, as well as numerous appearances before administrative tribunals in Washington, D.C.
Attorney Kerstein received his law degree from Suffolk University Law School and has integrated his expertise in the drafting and analysis of regulations as well as his experience within higher education and with professional licensing boards into the practice of law. He has an active law practice representing colleges and universities, and businesses, as well as professionals before their licensing boards and individuals regarding a wide array of issues. He is also general counsel to Planet Aid Inc., which assists developing nations worldwide and Save One Life, Inc., a charity which assists hemophiliacs worldwide.
Mr. Kerstein is a founding partner of KCL and has extensive credentials as both a practicing attorney and as an expert presenter at many regional and national professional conferences. He has been writing and presenting for over twenty-five years. In addition to his membership in the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, the Norfork and Middlesex County Bar Associations, the Massachusetts Association of Trial Attorneys, the National Association of College and University Attorneys, the Massachusetts Association of Student financial Aid Administrators, (MASFAA), the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), and the Eastern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, he has presented at the NASFAA national conference on numerous occasions and has presented, regionally, at both the EASFAA and MASFAA annual conferences. He has been published both regionally and nationally in the NASFAA Transcript, the EASFAA NEWSLETTER and the MASFAA NEWSLETTER.
Attorney Kerstein is a founding member and Managing Partner of KCL and a member of several practice groups.
