Massachusetts Unemployment Rate Soars

The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development recently reported that the Massachusetts unemployment rate has skyrocketed to its highest level in more than five years. Most people find this unsurprising, as the entire United States economy is in a dramatic recession. The Labor Department reported that the nation, as a whole, lost over 533,00 workers in November.
