KCL’s tax attorneys have the experience necessary to assist you with many different areas of tax law. Each of our attorneys in the Tax Department holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation and has experience representing corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, trusts, estates and individuals in a broad range of transactions and controversies.

Our tax attorneys are aware that tax issues do not occur in isolation outside of real life, and that tax issues are usually connected to other legal, financial, and personal considerations (including, of course, the projected cost of legal representation). Our tax attorneys’ overall goals are to (1) clearly communicate the objectives of the representation and the possible outcomes, (2) work collaboratively with the client and the client’s team (e.g., CPAs, financial advisors, brokers) towards a common objective, and (3) work towards adding value to the client’s case.
