Biography
Ms. Hutchins is a partner at Kerstein, Coren & Lichtenstein, LLP, with a diverse practice specializing in the areas of education law, domestic relations, employment law, business litigation, professional licensure and real estate. Ms. Hutchins, a graduate Suffolk University Law School, is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of both Massachusetts and New Hampshire and has successfully litigated cases in both states.
As an attorney practicing education law, Ms. Hutchins represents students in areas of special education, school discipline, suspensions and expulsions, and child placement. Ms. Hutchins has successfully represented students who have been wrongfully expelled from their schools, helped parents navigate the world of "individualized education plans" and has fought against schools' complacency with bullying. Ms. Hutchins has also lectured and authored in the area of special education law.
In her domestic relations practice, Ms. Hutchins represents both
men and women in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody, support,
visitation, Department of Children and Families cases and kinship adoptions.
In 2008, Ms. Hutchins was profiled in TIME Magazine's "Salute to Women in Leadership" feature and was interviewed by Sky Radio regarding her domestic relations practice.
